The Longhorns come into Thursday's game on an eight-game win streak with the most recent being a four-set win over Stanford to bring their overall record to 26-4. Madisen Skinner led the team offensively with 24 kills. Skinner received support from Ella Swindle who provided 41 assists in the win. On the defensive end, Emma Halter delivered 13 digs while Swindle added 11 digs for a double-double. Collectively, the team held Stanford to a hitting percentage of .278.

The Badgers are 30-3 overall this season and are on a seven-game win streak after beating Oregon in four sets in the quarterfinals. Sarah Franklin led the offense once again, finishing the game with a team-high 20 kills. Temi Thomas-Ailara and Anna Smrek also ended the game in double digits with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Gulce Guctekin turned in 17 digs to lead the defense, but Julia Orzol was right on her tail with 16 digs. MJ Hammill supported offensive play by adding 26 assists to the stat sheet.
The winner of Thursday night's game will play either Nebraska or Pittsburgh in the national championship on Sunday.
